General:

  • Submission of the contact form and/or the consultation form will count as acknowledgement and acceptance of the following Arden Dog Walking Terms and Conditions.

  • Arden Dog Walking will not confirm the first booking until a suitable consultation has taken place with the client/s.

  • It is the responsibility of the client/s to provide all necessary and sufficient equipment for their dog whilst in Arden Dog Walking care, including, but not limited to; dog collar with tag (including client name and address as required by UK law), leads, bedding (if required), food (if required), medications (if required), personalised comforters, etc. If not provided, the client agrees to fully reimburse Arden Dog Walking for any associated necessary costs.

  • All dogs must be microchipped.

  • We strongly advise that all dogs be fully insured; this is the owner’s responsibility to arrange prior to starting with Arden Dog Walking.

  • The client must declare any potential behavioural problems or history of behavioural problems on either the initial enquiry/contact form or at the time of initial consultation (and ongoing accordingly) including, but not limited to anxiety, anti-social behaviours, aggression, etc. in order for Arden Dog Walking to provide adequate care for the client’s dog, members of the public and our walkers.

  • The client must declare any medical issues or health-related concerns on either the initial enquiry/contact form or at the time of initial consultation (and ongoing accordingly) in order to allow consideration of such issues during the dog’s time in the care of Arden Dog Walking.

  • The client agrees that Arden Dog Walking can tailor walks/care when weather conditions become such that it is deemed a concern for a dog's welfare, such as extreme heat or thunder storms, or that of the walkers.

  • In the event of an emergency, every effort will be made by Arden Dog Walking to use the client’s registered veterinary practice. However, if this is not possible, Arden Dog Walking reserve the right to use a veterinary practice of their choice in order to give the animal the best help at that time.

  • In the event of a dog needing medical treatment or emergency consultation, it is the client's responsibility to cover all financial costs, including associated costs, such as veterinary bills, travel expenses, medication, or any other associated liability.

  • All dogs must be up-to-date with their vaccinations, worming, tick and flea treatments.

  • If the client/s prefers/agrees to their dog being exercised off-lead, this must be declared on either the initial enquiry/contact form or at the time of initial consultation. In doing so, the client/s accepts responsibility for any risks therein and third-party liability.

  • Arden Dog Walking are fully insured to look after the client’s dog/s. However, it is paramount that animals are also insured by clients themselves, including third party liability. The client accepts full liability for any loss, harm or damage caused by their dog whilst being walked. The client is financially responsible for any loss, harm or damage to property whilst their dog is in the care of Arden Dog Walking. Arden Dog Walking is not held accountable for fees or third party claims whilst your dog is in our care.

  • Arden Dog Walking are happy to accept bookings for un-spayed bitches. However, it is the client's responsibility to ensure Arden Dog Walking is informed if a dog is in, or due to be in, season. Arden Dog Walking will make every effort to protect the client’s bitch from unwanted male attention, but cannot be held responsible for any associated incidents that may occur and/or resultant unwanted pregnancies.

  • The client must provide Arden Dog Walking with the name and contact number of an individual capable of making a decision relating to their dog/s in an emergency, be it the client/s themselves or another notified individual over the age of 18. If the contact is not available, Arden Dog Walking reserves the right to consult with the registered veterinary practice and make a decision which is mutually decided to be in the best interest of the animal.

  • The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Arden Dog Walking, including any additional fees such as emergency call-out charges. These must be settled with Arden Dog Walking immediately upon collection of the animal.
